From Paris With Love is not going to make Signed, Sealed, Delivered the next breakout show, but on a weekend where the choices at the multiplex are pretty crass (Entourage, Spy), it's a serviceable diversion for the audience segment that eschews R-rated films altogether.
How can Gotham make us really care about its characters?
I am not sure how I feel with what seems to be an odd rush to get the Joker in the show somehow.
Overall this was a good, but not great episode. I am very nervous about next week, as the preview for the episode seems to hint at a major character debuting on the show. We will see what actually happens and deal with it then. What about you? Did you enjoy this week?
Boo! Fear was center-stage in this week's episode of Gotham.
From start to finish, this was the best, well-crafted episode of the pilots and has so much potential; it wouldn't be a surprise for this to be something really special for Amazon.
Mid-Season hiatuses can always be a tricky thing. Sometimes they leave viewers anticipating a show's return and other times they leave too much room for the show to be forgotten about.
Gotham's 10th episode, "Lovecraft" marked it's halfway point of the inaugural season and demonstrates how far the show has come in 10 weeks.
The last two episodes have been my favorites, and in general I have warmed slightly to the show after a rocky first half-dozen episodes or so.
