Vision tells the story of Hildegard von Bingen

Films that depict communal religious life with nuance and sympathy are rare, and those that probe without cliché the relationships, communal and familial, between women are rarer still. So why didn’t I love Margarethe von Trotta’s Vision? My answer and other thoughts is up at the Christianity Today Movies Blog.
