I actually like western films, Johnny Guitar not the best but some good ones are The Searchers with John Wayne. I think The Searchers is the best western of all time. Any film directed by John Ford is usually a good film. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon are good ones. The Unforgiven by Clint Eastwood and The Wild Bunch by Sam Peckinpagh are excellent films. Westerns tell alot about the pioneering spirit of early American Settlers to the West. It really is a good indication of what being an American is all about including the Good, the bad and the ugly of it, pun intended.
